Liquid Emotion

What is a tear to you?
Is it just a drop of liquid running from your eyes?
Is it something you try to keep from surfacing?
Think back, back to the last time you cried.
Remember the feeling of those tears running down your face?
They were warm, and never-ending.
The emotion you felt became the one leaving your eyes.
You might have closed your eyes, only to provoke more to surface.
Do you remember the last time your tears were caught?
Caught by hands that cared?
Caressed by hands that longed to share your emotions?
Did those hands hold you?
Hard to imagine, those tears being nothing but drops.
Hard to imagine, never crying, never releasing emotions to the outside world.
Remember being in that persons arms?
Remember releasing your tears and cares on that person who wanted to see your heart?
The person that held you as the outside world kept moving, while your world stood still.
While the caring hands caught every tear that ran down your face.
It’s funny how well you remember that person.
Ironic how your heart goes out to them.
Don’t ever forget where your tears came from.
Don’t ever forget that your emotions are alive, and that your heart has needs too.
And, Don’t ever forget that there will always be people willing to catch your tears.
That will brush your eyes and wait for more to come.
They are the people who will care about you for the best reason,
For being emotionally alive.

The Great Catch Teardrops in their Hands.
